Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data PaperLab Pro collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you.
What we collect
Account details (name, email, region), order details (manuscript metadata, word counts, instructions), uploaded files, payment references returned by our payment provider, and support correspondence. We do not store full card numbers.
Why we collect it
To quote and fulfil orders, to match your work with a qualified specialist, to process payment, to provide support, and to meet accounting and legal obligations.
Manuscript confidentiality
Manuscripts are stored in private object storage. Access is granted per request through short-lived signed links issued only to authorised parties on your order, and staff access to sensitive files is logged.
Sharing
We share the minimum necessary with payment providers and infrastructure suppliers acting under contract. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Order and financial records are retained as required for tax and accounting. Manuscripts and deliverables are retained to support your revision window and are deleted under our retention schedule on request.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can opt out of marketing communications at any time. Marketing consent is separate from service communications and is never pre-ticked.
